The Lobby Bar at The Hotel Minneapolis

THE HOTEL MINNEAPOLIS—A Doubletree Hotel, which celebrated its first anniversary in August, offers 6,000 square feet of meeting space, including four meeting rooms, a boardroom and the Lobby Bar (The LB for short). Encompassed by the 23,000-square-foot lobby, The LB transforms into a unique space for meetings and events, accommodating up to 500 people. The adjacent restaurant Max can also seat 200 for private dining. Events in The LB have ranged from weddings and anniversaries

to events such as Minnesota Monthly’s Best Of party. Located in the former Midland Building, which was built in 1905, the 222-room hotel features many classic details including original marble columns and plasterwork.
