This summer, Eagan-based Lancer
Hospitality, a catering and food
service company, partnered with
Scott County Parks and Trails to
reopen Cedar Lake Farm and
Regional Park in New Prague,
Minn. This partnership allows for
the public use of ball fields, picnic
areas and lakeside facilities. Lancer
Hospitality plans to use Cedar
Lake Farm, which can accommodate groups as large as 2,500 people, to host everything from company parties to weddings. Contact:

The Bloomington Convention and
Visitors Bureau recently redesigned
its Web site ( bloomingtonmn.org) to
ease use for meeting and event planners. The site is organized so that planners have the ability to filter searches
for hotels based on their proximity to
MSP International Airport (and other
criteria), compare venues, complete
online RFPs and learn about the city’s
restaurants and entertainment options.
Additionally, the site can now host a Web page promoting your event. Explore the site and view a
